just thinking

We try and reconcile the different problems present in society...we always take part in prevention of infringement and promotion of rights of people....that everyone is entitled to be the best that he or she can be...One thing bothers me though, why do we always come up with the wrong diagnosis for a particular problem... a great example is women trafficking.
In trafficking of women, we always try and put them in a box where they are molded to become export quality goods. Issue number one is, why do these women engage in such outgoing activities? One, maybe they are so uptight with the present shape of society that they want to have better lives. Two, in another perspective, they might be forced to do such horrid things. And three, the more unusual one is that they like to do it...plain and simple.
It all boils down now to commodification of women present in our times... we try and put them with labels. They become products waiting to be picked up...they are being presented well as if they are advertised as for them to be sold more...just for the purpose to satisfy carnal desires.
At often times, we pity these people...we put them down...we despise and we brand them as people deprvied of moral ascendancy. We never quite get the point that these people are the ones being hurt...deprived...used and abused.
What did the society do to them? obviously, criminalize these people...but it was never their intention to be against societal rules...they are just victims of ignorance and deceit.
The smile of the clown is there for people to see and to laugh at...and it will always be there. We could never see the clown's mar unless we smudge away the smile of the clown and see if the clown is happy to what he is doing.
