We are fearful but we take the risk of being afraid

It is a fearful thing
to love what death can touch.

---wow!!!! Striking as it may seem... I never really realized that hurt is integral in love... I kept denying the concept of duality... To risk yourself for something that can be lost... It's more of a gamble than something that you have/need. To be attached to someone or something that you know eventually is contingent makes it scary but all the while makes it worthwhile for a little bit of happiness and security.

When you think that you don't know anything...Something came into mind

William Parrish: Love is passion. Obsession. Someone you can't live without. Someone you fall head over heels for. Find someone you can love like crazy, and will love you the same way back. Listen to your heart. No sense in life without this. To make the journey without falling deeply in love, you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try, because if you haven't tried, then you haven't lived.

---very inspiring...Coming from someone who is about to die... When we try to live our lives, does it necessitate that we have to go through every bit or it through love to experience life? Come to think of it, there are more explicit terms that can define life... We become so limited to the concept of love that we forget the other essential abstract feelings and ideas that are present i.e. success, failure, freedom etc. Just a thought...
